Wilse Howard, Jr.

Wilse Howard, Jr., age 92, a resident of Pathfork, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at his home in Pathfork.  He was born on April 12, 1928 in Pathfork, KY to the late Wilse Howard Sr. and Lusinda Payne Howard. He was of the Holiness Faith and was a member of the First Pentecostal Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen Brock Howard and a very special grandson, Robert W. Griffin, Jr.

He is survived by the following members of his family:

Children: Ernie (Sue) Howard, Kern (Ralph) Palmer, Geona (Nathaniel) Snellings and Patrick (Sarah) Howard

Brother: Sam Howard

Sister:  Colleen Spence

Grandchildren: Stephanie E. Rice, Charles (Chas) Howard, Alyssa Howard, Andrew Howard and Brookelyn Howard

Great-grandchildren: Keegan Griffin, Kelsey Griffin, Tristen Henry, Brayden Ellis, Landen Hall and Graycen Ellis

And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the Blackstar Pentecostal Church in Blackstar, Kentucky.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the Blackstar Pentecostal Church in Blackstar, Kentucky with Rev. Ronnie Oplinger, Rev. Eli Craig and Rev. J.C. Craig presiding. Music will be provided by Geona Snellings and Margie Moore.

Graveside service will immediately follow the funeral service in the Saylor Cemetery in Pathfork, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Ernie Howard, Patrick Howard, Andrew Howard, Brayden Ellis, Steve Brock, Greg Brock and Tristen Henry.
