William Lee

William “Bill” Lee, age 75 of Cumberland Gap, TN, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at the Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.

He was born April 27, 1945 in Harlan, KY, the son of the late John and Sarah Ellis Lee.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister.

He is survived by the following members of his family:

Children: Tom Lee, Steve Lee, Cris Vruggink, and Dan Lee

Brother: Lewis Lee

Sisters: Elizabeth Jackson, Myrtle Wilder and Betty Miracle

8 Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family of Bill Lee will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Bo Lee presiding.  Music will be provided by the Warwick Family and the Blackstar Pentecostal Church Singers.  Pallbearers will be Tyler Lee, JP Miracle, John Robert Miracle, Bill Lee and Leonard Bolton.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Miracle, Angie Wilder and Sarah Miracle.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, at the Upland Cemetery at Hulen, KY with full military honors.
