Wendy Denise Adkins Johnson

Wendy Denise Adkins Johnson, age 43, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in Nashville, TN. She was born March 24, 1981, she was the beloved daughter of Wendell Adkins and the late Fonda Susan Adkins.

Wendy was a loving mother who cherished her family deeply. She was known for her warmth and caring nature, always putting her loved ones first.

In addition to her mother, Wendy was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charles and Lvinna Adkins; and her maternal grandparents, Otto and Rebecca Buell.

Left to cherish her memory are her father, Wendell Adkins; her husband, Doug Johnson; daughters, Suzannah Huff and Rebecca Adkins; sister, Sandy Adkins; Nieces, Kasondra Daniels, Saphira Warren, Fonda Susan “Susie” Adkins and Zoey McKenna Marcum; special friend, Anita Ford; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Wendy’s life will be honored and celebrated at a later date, where all who knew her can come together to remember the love and joy she brought into their lives.
