Wayne Dean Maiden

Wayne Dean Maiden, age 75, of Frakes, KY, entered his Heavenly home on Sunday, August 25, 2024. He was born on May 15, 1949, to the late Ned and Bessie Hatfield Maiden.

Wayne was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Frakes, KY. He enjoyed the thrill of “coon and turkey hunting”. Even in his recent illness, the sound of the turkeys’ calls nearby made him long to get one in his sights. He will be remembered for the love and kindness he showed to all who knew him.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Ned and Bessie Hatfield Maiden; brothers, Herman Maiden, Donald Maiden, Roland Maiden, and Jimmy Maiden; and sister, Linda Maiden Hall.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 31 years, Catherine Partin Maiden; sister, Freeda Maiden Leach; brother-in-law, Willard (Sharon) Partin; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

A graveside service for Wayne Dean Maiden will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at the Maiden Cemetery in Frakes, KY with Reverend Bernley Lambdin presiding. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
