Virginia Price Fortner

Virginia Lee Price Fortner, age 80, of Speedwell, TN, passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 12, 2020.  She was born May 19, 1940, the daughter of the late Milton Price, Sr. and Leona Poteet Price.  She was a loving housewife and farmer who believed in the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Joan Chadwell Price and her brother-in-laws, Frank Rogers and Paris M. Fortner.

She is survived by the following members of her family:

Her husband, Ferndee Fortner

Children:  Garvin Fortner and Kelvin Fortner

Grandson:  Robert Fortner

Brothers:  Clifford (Patsy) Price, Damon Price and Conley (Shelia) Price

Sisters:  Joyce Emans, Bonnie Price Rogers and Faye (Bob) Hunley

Sister-in-law: Dolly Ann Fortner

And a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, on Saturday, August 15, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel in Middlesboro, KY.

Interment will immediately follow at 12 noon, at the Fortner Family Cemetery in Speedwell, TN.
