Trula Farrell

Trula Faye Farrell, age 76, of Middlesboro, KY, sadly passed away at the Middlesboro ARH on Sunday, April 28, 2019. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend, who gained a beautiful set of Angel wings. She was born of February 16, 1943, in Harlan, KY, daughter of the late Welzie Daniels and Gladys Ellison Daniels.

Trula retired from the Middlesboro School System and Cumberland Gap Provision. Her greatest gifts she leaves behind are her faith in God, her Daughter, Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. Her family was her biggest accomplishment, she always gained a smile on her face when her Great-Grandchildren came thru the door. She was a strong, kind-hearted, extremely loving and giving woman. She loved spending her time with her Great-Grandchildren, growing flowers, playing school, reading books, reading the Bible and teaching them about God or just doing anything they wanted to do, as long as it put a smile on their face.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Daughter, Donna Raines; her husband of 33 years, Fred Farrell; her very special Sisters, Jeanette Smallwood and Francis Marcum; her Brother, Arvin Daniels; and her Great-Grandchild, Braelyn Jaide Raines.

She is survived by the following: her Daughter, Robin Daniels of Middlesboro, KY; Grandchildren, Allen (Minako) Gambrel of Ohio; Daniel (Brittney) Raines of Pineville, KY; Krystin (Shane) Patterson of Middlesboro, KY; Erica (David) Carroll of Middlesboro, KY; Great-Grandchildren, Alexxus “Jensyn” Akers, Madisyn “Journey” Patterson, Theia Emily Grace Patterson, Landon Raines, Chelsea Raines, Taylon Raines, Dalton Raines, Alex Raines, Roo Gambrel and Mari Gambrel. Her brothers, Earl (Mary) Daniels; Larry (Alma) Daniels, Stanley (Monica) Daniels, all of Harrogate, TN. Very special sister, Thelma Partin of Middlesboro, KY; very special Son-in-law, Donny Raines; and some special people who touched her life, Gary Mayes, Margaret Schmelz, the staff at Amedisys Home Health, Jenny Tong, Amanda Roark, Dr. Brooke Laughter, Dr. Neil Barry, and the staff at the Middlesboro ARH; and a host of other loving family members.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Long officiating, all at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY. Music will be provided by Luther Adkins. Pallbearers will be Tim Daniels, Donny Raines, Daniel Raines, Shane Patterson, David Carroll and Allen Gambrel. Honorary Pallbearers will be Stanley Daniels, Larry Daniels, Earl Daniels and Gary Mayes.

Interment will be on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, KY.
