Tom Daugherty

Tom Huey Daugherty, age 82, of Harrogate, TN, passed away peacefully at his brothers home on Saturday, February 19, 2022, after an extended illness.  He was born March 3, 1939, the son of the late Charlie Daugherty and Minnie Daugherty.

Tom was a member of White Rock Church of God Mountain Assembly in Ewing, VA, and he was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Daugherty and Minnie Daugherty.

He is survived by the following members of his family:

Sister, Lillie Josephine Eldridge of Powell, TN

Brother, Willis Siler (Edith) Daugherty of Maynardville, TN

Companion, Katheryn Napier of VA

Special nephew, Sam Daugherty of Maynardville, TN

Special grandson, Wiley Daniels of VA

Special granddaughter, Debbie Smith of FL

Daughters, Mary (Terry) Daniels of Harrogate, TN and Karen (Jimmy) Griswold of IN

Sons, Thomas Daugherty, Charles Daugherty and Brian Daugherty, all of TN

Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews that loved him very much.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Jody Moore presiding.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at the Mountainview Cemetery in Harrogate, TN.  Pallbearers will be Sam Daugherty, Terry Daniels, Wiley Daniels, Billy Gilbert, Tim Daugherty, Jase Hoffman, Charles Eldridge and Dustin Daniels.
