Thomas Risner

Thomas Clay Risner blessed us with his arrival December 27, 1978 and left us with many beautiful memories on August 20, 2020.  Clay was the glow in our eyes, the joy in our hearts and the innocence we all strive to have.  He has blessed us with so many memories.  His light will forever shine in our lives.

Clay was greeted in Heaven by his mother Alpha Peace Risner.

Left with his memories, father: Mearl Risner, siblings: Lisa Harbin-Harris (Jeff), Micah Risner (Amy), Maranda Risner Carver (Donald), Lana Harbin-Dugger (Ernie) and several nieces, nephews, loving family and a special angel here on earth that brightened Clay’s life with tender care, Carolena Wilder.

The family of Clay Risner will receive friends Monday, August 24, 2020 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Cawood Funeral Home, Middlesboro, KY.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00pm with Elder Jody Risner  and Elder Stacy Risner officiating.  Music will be provided by Brian Robbins, Erica Overbay, Stephanie Turner and Hannah Turner. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Middlesboro, KY.  Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
