Thelma Hensley Gibbons

Thelma Jean Hensley Gibbons, age 78, of Pineville, KY, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at the Middlesboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Middlesboro, KY.  She was born at Hensley Settlement in Pineville, KY, on March 9, 1943, to the late Park and Ellamae Thomas Hensley.

She is preceded in death by two infant sisters, Mable and Roena and sisters, Lillian Hampton and Dessie Brock; niece, Eudena Willis; and two great nephews, Aaron Wills and Justin Ealy.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Myra Jean Miracle (Joe), and Leketta Ann Nantz (Tim); 5 granddaughters, Amanda Brock (Dustin), Scarlett Mills (Taylor), Amelia Jones (Jake), Cassidy Nantz (Nathan), and Emily Miracle; two great grandsons, Parker Elliott and Mason Elliott; three great granddaughters, Emersyn Mills, Harper Hatmaker, and Madalynn Brock; sister, Wandalene Miracle (Condy); nieces, Susan Partin (David), and Connie Hunley (Peyton); nephew, Tim Brock (Susan); special niece, Royice Ealy (Jimmy); and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends.

Pall bearers will be Joe Miracle, Tim Nantz, Jake Jones, Taylor Mills, Dustin Brock, and Nathan Hatmaker.

Memorial services for Thelma Jean Hensley Gibbons will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro, KY, with Reverend David Gibbons presiding.  Music will be provided by Becky Gibbons.
