Tammie Bible Mills, a woman of profound faith and unwavering love, passed away on March 9, 2025, at the age of 59, surrounded by her children. They believe she just didn’t want to turn 60, because that would have made her an “old lady” and that just didn’t fit her style. She was born on March 12, 1965, in Louisville, KY.
Tammie was a devoted mother, loving Nana, sister, aunt and friend. Her infectious, childlike energy and warm smile made her loved by all who knew her. Despite life’s challenges, she maintained an unshakable faith and an unwavering love for her family and friends. Tammie’s fierce love and nurturing spirit will forever be cherished in the hearts of those she touched.
Tammie is rejoicing at the feet of Jesus with her mother and father, Sylvia and Leon Bible, her sister Sherry Buckner, her niece Bridgett Buckner and her nephews Richie and Brandon Buckner.
Left to carry on her legacy are her three children, Shan Mills, Teddy (Jessica) Harrell, and Michael Mills; grandchildren, Sierra Bates (Dereck Armer), Chris Singleton, Hayden, Henley, and Hadley Harrell, and Chloe Mills; great-grandchildren, Raelynn Nunn, Madelynn Armer, and Parker Singleton; sisters, Teresa (Jack) Dilbeck and Sandy Lanham; and brother Leon Bible. Her passing has also left a void in the lives of a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
