"Satch" Thacker

“Satch” Harold Estil Thacker, age 82, of Harrogate, TN, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the Middlesboro ARH Hospital in Middlesboro, KY. He was born in Middlesboro Kentucky on June 12, 1937, the son of the late Eestle Charles Thacker and Willie Mae Adkins Thacker. He was a born again Christian.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wives, Janice Sizemore Thacker and Glinda Brooks Thacker; and his brothers, Douglas, Dale, Jimmy, and Vernon Thacker.

He is survived by his children, Connie (Donnie) Miracle, Debbie Marsee, Wayne (Becky) Thacker, Charles (Teresa) Thacker and Ronnie Thacker; grandchildren, Alexis Miracle, Samantha Bates, Josh and Christina Miracle, Josh and Monica Marsee, Kimmy Marsee, Alexis and Ryan Phelps, Emily and Ricky Louis, Brian Webb, Christopher Thacker, Anthony and Tameeka Thacker, Jessica and Dustin Smith, and Mackenzie Thacker; a host of great-grandchildren and stepchildren; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Clayton Barton presiding. Music will be provided by Pam Barton. Pallbearers will be Drexel Givens, Chase Oboroff, Donnie Earles, Bradley Earles, Doug Thacker, and Josh Marsee. Interment will immediately follow the funeral service at the Mountainview Cemetery in Harrogate, TN.
