Sarah Skidmore

Sarah Grace Skidmore, a resident of Middlesboro, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. She was born on February 9, 1999 in Pineville, Kentucky to Angie Hensley Skidmore and the late Dallas Skidmore.

In addition to her father Dallas, she was preceded in death by her grandfather Henry Clay Hensley.

She is survived by her mother Angie Skidmore and companion Steve Sheppard, sister Ashley Hensley, brother Drew Overbay, niece Lilyanna Dye, grandparents Mary Hensley, JD and Pam Skidmore, Aunt Pam Smith, uncle Blaine Smith, cousin Clayton Smith and a host of other family members and dear friends.

Sarah graduated from Bell County High School and attended college at Washington State University. She had planned on returning to school in the fall to pursue a degree in social work.  She was employed by Kay Jewelers in the Middlesboro Mall.

Sarah was baptized in August of 2019 and said, “things were well with her soul.”  She was a member of Shiloh Church in Middlesboro.

All services for Sarah are private, she will be buried in the family cemetery, Calvin, KY.
