Sandra Hurst

Sandra Faye Hurst, 68, went to see her loved ones who had gone on before her on Saturday, August 31, 2019.

She was born November 13, 1950 in Bell County, KY, the daughter of the late Eula Gray Lasley and Haskell Villa Lasley. She was a member of the Richardson Chapel Baptist Church where she professed a her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ in 1981 at the age of 31.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Sonny Hurst; brothers Mitchell Lasley and Cecil Lasley.

Survivors include: Her daughter, Melissa Jean Emert of Middlesboro, KY, Granddaughters: Tiffani Faith Emert of Tazewell, TN and Sydney Grace Cox of Middlesboro, KY. Great-Grandson: Brayden Grim of Tazewell, TN.

Brothers: Kenneth Wayne Lasley of Monroe, North Carolina, Rick Christopher Lasley of Tazewell, TN, Terry Lee (Jan) Lasley of Tazewell, TN and Ancil Keith Lasley of Hurst, Texas.

Sisters: Carolyn Sue Glasscock of Monroe, North Carolina, Mary Margaret Lasley of Middlesboro, KY, Vickie (Wilburn) Guy of Middlesboro, KY and Shelby Joyce (Dan) Clark of Tazewell, TN.

Along with a very blessed amount of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, at the Creech Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with the Rev. Bobby Partin presiding.

Family and friends will gather for graveside services at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, at the England Cemetery at Tazewell, TN where she will be laid to rest beside of her dear and loving mother.
