Sallie (Sally) Fay Baker

Sallie (Sally) Fay Baker, age 75, of Pineville, KY, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024. She was born in Bell County, KY, on July 21, 1949, the daughter of Franklin and Thelma Mason. 

Sally was a devoted member of the Old Ferndale Missionary Baptist Church, where she found joy in serving the Lord. She had a deep passion for nurturing her flower gardens, which reflected her vibrant spirit and love for nature. Above all, Sally cherished the time spent with her family, grandkids, and great grandkids, creating lasting memories that will be treasured for a lifetime. 

In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Baker; brothers, Lowell, Bill, Gentry and Charlie Mason; sisters, Mary Emert and Linnie Fisher.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Carol (Johnny) Skeese of Monticello, KY; son, Tony (LeeAnn) Baker of Sharps Chapel, TN; grandchildren, Bradley Baker, Latecia Masingo, Kyle Skeese and Kaylee Skeese; great-grandchildren, Braxton Baker, Adalie Baker, Grayson Masingo and Noah Masingo; brothers, Clarence, Perry, Doyle and Ernie Mason; special niece, Ida Forte; and many other loving family and friends. 

The family of Sallie (Sally) Fay Baker will receive friends on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro Kentucky. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY, with Reverend Clarence Mason presiding. Music will be provided by the Old Ferndale Missionary Baptist Church Choir. 

Graveside services will immediately follow the funeral service at the Ferndale Cemetery, Ferndale, Pineville, KY. Pallbearers will be Doyle Mason, Robert Fisher, Perry Mason, Bradley Baker, Braxton Baker and Kyle Skeese. Honorary pallbearers will be Aubrey Bailey, Dr. Steven Morgan, Charles “Chuck” Bishop and Ernie Mason. 

Sally will be remembered fondly for her kindness and the love she shared, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.
