Rosemarie Davenport

Rosemarie H. Davenport, age 93, of Hulen, KY, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021.  She was born September 26, 1927, the daughter of the late George Harding and Pearl Parsons Harding.

She was born and raised in Bell County her whole life.  She was a member of the First Blackmont Baptist church in Blackmont, KY.  She loved being outdoors and she had a devoted love for animals, gardening and sewing.  She was in the horse business, owning American Saddlebred show horses with her son for nearly 15 years.  She was an educator with the Bell County School System, where she enjoyed teaching and she worked for the State of Kentucky for many years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George H. Davenport, Sr.

She is survived by her son, George Davenport of Hulen, KY and a host of other relatives and many friends from her church that loved her dearly.

The family of Rosemarie H. Davenport will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the Blackmont Baptist Church in Blackmont, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the Blackmont Baptist Church in Blackmont, KY with Rev. David Howard presiding.  Music will be provided by the Blackmont Baptist Church Singers.  Graveside service will immediately follow the funeral service at the Parsons Family Cemetery in Hulen, KY.  Family and friends will service as Pallbearers.

All COVID-19 mandates will be observed including masks and social distancing.
