Rodney Partin

Rodney Lewis Partin, age 67, of Cumberland, KY, went home to his Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at his home in Cumberland, KY.

Rodney believed in the Baptist faith. He was kind and soft spoken, a loving, caring friend to many, both in his local community and in his extended family and friends he had met over the road in his many years in the trucking business and coal industry.

He was preceded in death by his younger sister, Deborah Kaye Partin and by his father, Herbert Lewis Partin.

Survivors include his mother, Bessie Partin, of Lafollette, TN; sister, Sharon Partin of Knoxville, TN; and his daughter, Tara Partin and four grandchildren of Cumberland, KY.

Family will receive friends Monday, October 10, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cawood Funeral Home, Middlesboro, KY.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Turner officiating.  Singing will be provided by Thomasa Risner.  Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens Gazebo, Middlesboro, KY. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 10:30 for the procession.
