Rodney Keyes

Rodney Brent Keyes, age 46, of Lexington, KY, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 in Lexington, KY. He was born on December 27, 1972, the son of the late Gary B. Keyes and Rose Keyes.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Mossie Harding; paternal grandparents, Robert and Edith Keyes, special aunts, Beverly Freeman and Patricia Craig; and special uncle, James B. Craig.

He is survived by his mother, Rose Keyes and Greg Tubbs of Lexington, KY; daughter, Chelsey B. Gibson; grandsons, Neyland Foister and James Michael Gwinner, Jr. of Middlesboro, KY; sister, Leah Smallwood of Lexington, KY; brother, Joe (Tiffany) Keyes of Elizabethtown, KY; nephews, Noah Smallwood, Hunter Smallwood and Brantley Keyes; nieces, Gracie Keyes, Addy Keyes, Kyli Coogle and Whitney Lee Hosford; special aunt and uncle, David and Mary Fuson of Winchester, KY; special friend, Jamie Wilson of Insull, KY; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Freeman Clark and Rev. David Howard officiating. Music will be provided by the Lee Family.
