Paul Estep

October 1, 1955 — November 8, 2019

Paul Franklin “Red” Estep, 64, of Middlesboro, passed away Friday, November 8, 2019 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

He was born October 1, 1955 the son of the late Paul and Ina Mae Estep.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Sisters: Brenda Barnett and Phyllis Shupe.

Survivors include:

Sisters: Pauline (Bill) Phipps of Crossville, TN; Jackie Stotts of Middlesboro, KY; Mary Estep of Kingsport, TN; and Sarah Bishop of Montana.

Brothers: Charles Estep of Kingsport, TN; Michael Ray Estep of Ohio; Troy Estep and Glenn Estep both of Big Stone Gap, VA

And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Paul is also survived by his many brothers and sisters in the Lord at Trinity Baptist Church where he faithfully attended Sunday School, as well as Sunday and Wednesday Services. Paul’s friends also include his neighbors and staff at Cumberland Village Apartments.

Paul also had a true friendship with Teresa Blanton and her son Waylon of Harrogate, TN.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16, at the Trinity Baptist Church with Bro. Tracy Neeley and Bro. Keith Medley presiding. Music will be provided by Alvie Cunningham and Chris and Katie Stotts.

At Red’s request, a fellowship meal will be held following the services.

Interment at 1:30 p.m. Monday, November 18, at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, KY, where full military honors will be given.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16, at the Trinity Baptist Church.
