Patricia Herron

Patricia Ann Herron, 79, of Tazewell, Tennessee passed away on October 1, 2021.

She was born on February 9, 1942 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to the late Homer and Ollie Day Middleton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Shelby Gene Herron; daughter Glenda Joann Herron; siblings Billy Barnett, Brenda Fay Garett, Sharon Murphy and June Watson

She was of the Baptist faith and loved singing gospel music.  She sang with ‘The Christianaire’s’ gospel group for 30 years.

In addition to her love for gospel music, she also loved arranging flowers and owned a Flower and Christian book store at one time.

She loved her family with a fierce passion, but more importantly she loved her Savior Jesus Christ.

She is survived by the following members of her family: Sons: David (Christina) Herron of Middlesboro KY., and Jack Herron of Middlesboro, KY.

5 Grandchildren: Jessica Bussell, Shannon Daniels, Julia Herron, Joanna Seal, and Bobby Bryant

8 Great-grandchildren  3 Siblings:  Richard Burke, Jim Burke, Sue Barnett-Robinson

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 4, 2021 at the Cawood Funeral Home in Middlesboro, KY.

Funeral Services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the Cawood Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jim Blevins presiding.

Graveside services will follow in the Cave Springs Cemetery in Tazewell, TN. Pallbearers will be Robby Bryant, Daniel Herron, Jack Herron, Mike Daniels and Jesse Griffith.
