Nathaniel “Junior” Snellings, Jr., age 67, of Pathfork, KY, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022, peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 2, 1954, the son of the late Bertha Wilder and Nathaniel Snellings, Sr. He was a lifelong resident of Harlan-Bell County.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Alice Snellings Henry, Wilma Snellings, and Elizabeth Hensley.

He is survived by his loving wife, Geona Snellings; his children: daughters, Sonia Ogle and husband Jimmy, and Tonia Ryan and husband Kevin; sons, Tristen Henry, and Brayden Ellis; seven grandchildren; nine nieces and nephews; siblings:  sisters, Angie Marcum and husband Zora, and Melissa Snellings; brother, George Z. Snellings and wife Dinah; half-sisters, Laura Parham and husband Harold, and Nona Kay Towls; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A graveside service for Nathaniel “Junior Snellings, Jr. will be held at 12:00 noon, on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at the Saylor Cemetery in Pathfork, KY, with Rev. Ronnie Oplinger presiding.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Ogle, Kevin Ryan, Thomas Marcum, Tristen Henry, Brayden Ellis, and Landon Hall.
