Nancy Duncan

Nancy Gail Duncan age 69, passed away on December 24, 2022 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born August 22, 1953 in Knoxville, TN.  She was preceded in death by her mother Virginia Ruth and her father James Luke. She leaves behind her brother, Jim Duncan (Cheri), nephew Benjamin (Jennifer), great-niece Ruth Harper, many extended family, including Darlene Rowlett, many special friends, including Sara Risner and Becky Holt, many church friends, and many who were dear to her at the Middlesboro Health Care and Rehabilitation Facility.

Nancy was a graduate of MHS and LMU and worked many years as a social worker. She was an avid UT fan, loved animals (she was a friend to all cats), and was a history buff. Nancy was a faithful and devoted member of Covenant Methodist Church, in Middlesboro.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. in the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Chuck Shroll presiding.  Graveside services will immediately follow in the Middlesboro Cemetery, Middlesboro, KY. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
