Morris Bruce

Morris Ray Bruce, age 85, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the Tri State Rehab and Nursing Facility in Harrogate, TN. He was born on July 7, 1934, the son of the late Sidney Johnson Bruce, Sr. and Bessie Lee Hurst. He was a member of the Binghamtown Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Ruth Greer, Elizabeth May Ellison and Thelma Jean Martino; brothers, Al Thomas Bruce and George Bruce; and brother-in-laws, John Ellison and Jimmy Collingsworth.

He is survived by his brother, Sidney Johnson Bruce, Jr.; sister, Margaret Isabella Collingsworth; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. William Boyd Bingham presiding. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Graveside service will immediately follow the funeral service in the mausoleum at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.
