Michael Wayne Hood, age 58, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. He was born on January 26, 1961, the son of Shirley H. Hite of Middlesboro, KY and the late Charles C. Hood of Middlesboro, KY.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by grandparents, Emmett and Opal Hood, Myrtle and Frank Vance and his nephew, Charles E. (Chucky) Hood, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife, Angela Hood of Middlesboro, KY; children, Carolyn S. (Shawn) Capps, Charles Michael Hood, Justin Honeycutt and Amber Honeycutt; mother, Shirley H. Hite of Middlesboro, KY; grandchildren, Shawn Mitchell, Stetson Reed, Gabe West and Alyssa West; siblings, Charles E. (Tammy) Hood of Tazewell, TN, James C. (Diane) Hood of Middlesboro, KY, Linda (Rick) Ealy of Springfield, IL and Darla (Mike) Tolliver of Pineville, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and friends.
Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2019, at the Smith Cemetery, at Stevens Branch, in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
