Mary Wallace

Mary Ann Wallace, age 39, of Middlesboro, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Middlesboro ARH.

She was born February 11, 1982 in Bluefield, West Virginia, the daughter of the Roy Wallace, Jr. and Pam Adams Howerton who survives.

Mary was a loving mother to 2 wonderful boys, a loving aunt and a beloved daughter.  She was a hard worker and a friend to all who knew her.  She was an organ donor, receiving a Medal of Honor from the Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates for her gifts of life to others.  They called her a “Hero”.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son: Matthew Trevor Wallace; her twin sister: Carrie Lynn Wallace and a brother: Roy Edward “Eddie” Wallace III.

Left behind to mourn her passing are:

Her beloved mother and step-father: Pam and Tom Howerton

Her children: Jordan Tyler Wallace and Matthew Riley Wallace

Brother: Joshua (Crystal) Belcher

Special Nephew: Anthony Wallace

Half Sister: Stephanie Nicole (Josh) Marlow

Step-Sisters: Sue (Paul) Gilpin and Amanda Bennett

Stepbrother:  BJ Bennett

Aunt: Pat (Danny) Sadler

Uncles: Mike (Jane) Adams and David (Sandy) Adams

And a host of other family and friends.

Her mother would like to acknowledge a couple of special people who left a huge impact on their lives: Betty “Mamaw Butterfly” Brantley and Margaret “Grandma” Farmer

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 27, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Hall and Rev. Clayton Barton presiding.  Interment will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 27, at the Cawood Funeral Home.
