Martha Shepherd

Martha Jean (Jeannie) Shepherd, 51, of Middlesboro, went to be with the Lord on February 20, 2022, at the Middlesboro ARH.

She was born September 4, 1970 in Middlesboro, KY, the daughter of Alfred and Mable Smith Shepherd, both of whom survive.

She was preceded in death by her brother: Henry (Tommy) Shepherd

In addition to her parents, Alfred and Mable Shepherd, she is survived by the following members of her family:

2 Sons: Shawn M. Shepherd of Middlesboro and Anthony Shane (Lindsay) Sexton of Middlesboro, KY

1 Grandson: Henry Michael Shepherd of Middlesboro, KY

1 Sister: Barbara Ann (Sam) Hall of Tazewell, TN

3 Nieces: Angel Shepherd of London, KY; Jessica Shepherd of North Platte, NE and Krissy (Bradley) Carroll of Speedwell, TN

Nephew: Tommy Lee (Andrea) Shepherd of Middlesboro, KY

2 Great Nieces: June Hupfer of North Platte, NE and Kinsley Carroll of Speedwell, TN

A Great Nephew: Jake Carroll of Speedwell, TN

Her Lifelong Boyfriend: Timmy Marlow and his mother: Juanita Marlow, both of whom she loved dearly.

She is also survived by a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2022, in the chapel of the Cawood Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Wynn and the Rev. John Hall presiding.  Music will be provided by Shirley Partin.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers will be Shane Sexton, Sam Hall, Bradley Carroll, Jake Carroll and Axel Couch.

The Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at the Cawood Funeral Home.
