Mack H. Miracle of Miracle Kentucky, entered into his heavenly slumber on Thursday, April 7, 2022, in his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Mack was born in Monroe, Michigan on Dec. 10, 1956. At the age of 17, Mack joined the United States Army and lived his life as a proud Vietnam Era Veteran. Mack spent the last 30 years building lifelong friendships with his co-workers at M. Fine and SEKRI, where he was an industrial sewing machine mechanic.
An avid hunter Mack enjoyed the outdoors, teaching his children and grandchildren to hunt was one of his favorite activities. If Mack wasn't spending his free time in the woods, he could be found in the yard working on a "project” or tending to his plants.
Mr. Miracle is preceded in death by his father and mother, Joseph and Ninnie Miracle; his father-in-law and mother in-law, Coy and Elizabeth Overholt; four brothers, Danny, Lonnie, Roger, and Randy Miracle; one sister, Linda Miracle; four nephews, Joseph and Jonathan Miracle, Charles Miller, and Larry Daniel Overholt; one niece, Faith Stewart; and his brother-in-law, Samuel Overholt.
Mack is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Patricia Miracle; his two sons, Johnny (Bernice) Newton and Mack Miracle; three daughters, Lori (Ryan) Miller, Donna (Bobby) Poston, and Crystal (Dustin) Grey; former daughter in-law, Mary Miracle; eleven grandchildren, Jamie (Hannah) Hoskins, Alyssa (Garrett) Sheldon, Nicole Wilder, Kendra Newton, Treyton Brock, Michael Gilbert, Jayden and Riley Poston, Brea and Paige Miller, and Alaric Miracle; five great-grandchildren, Morgan, Charlotte, Aubrey, Millie and Gunnar; one brother, Jerry Miracle; five sisters, Joann Craig, Cora Gibson, Sharon Hunley, Rachel Mills, and Amanda Simpson; and his beloved dachshund "Missy".
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Miracle officiating. Full Military Honors, presented by the Jellico Honor Guard, will follow in the Veteran’s Memorial Park beside the Middlesboro City Parking Lot.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care in memory of Mack.
