Lyndon Hubbard

Lyndon Burton Hubbard, 48, of Barbourville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

He was born to parents, Cecil Burton Hubbard, Sr. and Charlene Carolyn Hubbard on March 29,1973 in Middlesboro, Kentucky. He served in the Army National Guard where he was trained as a mechanic on Abrams tanks. Most of his career was as a truck driver for Coca-Cola and Goodwill Industries.

Lyndon was preceded in death by his devoted mother Charlene Carolyn Hubbard, whom he loved so dearly.

He is survived by his loving wife Maxine Kysar, beloved daughter Kyndra Hubbard, and two step children, Tony Kysar, Jr. (Briana) and Tiffany Grace (Kevin), five treasured grandchildren, Katalina Hubbard, Annabelle Grace Kysar, Gavin Hunter Kysar, Grayson Wade Kysar and Dylan Lewis (Kayla), his father, Cecil Burton Hubbard, Sr. and sisters, Carolyn Nalley (Stan), Valerie Buttery (RJ), brothers, Cecil Hubbard, Jr. and Terry Hubbard (Carolyn) as well as many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

The family of Lyndon Burton Hubbard will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel in Middlesboro, Kentucky.

Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon with Rev. RJ Buttery officiating.  Music will be provided by Philip Buttery and Ashley Dalton.

Graveside services will immediately follow the funeral service at Lee Memorial Gardens West, Rose Hill, Virginia.  Pallbearers will be Tony Kysar,Jr, Kevin Grace, Michael Smith, Cecil Hubbard, Jr., Philip Buttery and Stan Nalley.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the medical staff at the University of Kentucky Good Samaritan Hospital, Barbourville ARH Hospital, and the Knox County Ambulance Service for all of their care.
