Lujayne Childers

Lujayne Childers, age 52, of Middlesboro, KY, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 22, 2021.  She was born March 17, 1968 in Pineville, KY, the daughter of the late James Edward Childers and Mary Jane Carroll Childers.

She believed in Jesus and had faith in God.  She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Gospel Outreach Baptist Church.  She was a very dedicated and loving mother to her son, Luke.  She was a wonderful sister to her brother, James and was a very loyal friend to all.  She will be missed by so many.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James Edward Childers and Mary Jane Carroll Childers.

She is survived by the following members of her family:

Son, Luke Childers

Brother, James Childers

Fiancé, Ramon Castrol

And a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel in Middlesboro, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Hyde and Rev. Donnie Buell presiding.

Graveside service will immediately follow the Funeral Service in the Hubbard Cemetery at Frakes, Kentucky. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

All mandated Covid-19 regulations, including masks and social distancing, will be observed.
