Lucy Robbins

Lucy Vohn Robbins age 90, of Middlesboro, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023.  She was born March 17, 1932, the daughter of the late James Thomas Turner and Leoda Hicks Turner.  Lucy was a longtime member of the Clear Fork Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leland Robbins; sister, Alice Whitaker and brother-in-law Arnold Whitaker; brothers-in-law, John Oliver Robbins and Donald Whitaker; nephews, Roger Whitaker, Tommy Whitaker, Claude Whitaker, Anthony (Tony) Whitaker and Danny Turner.

Lucy is survived by her sisters, Zella Robbins and Ruby Whitaker; nieces and nephews, Dena Robbins and Karen Whitaker, Gail Vineyard (Terry), Rick Whitaker (Jennifer) and Mike Whitaker (Debi); special friend and caregiver, Angela King; and longtime family friend, Bobby Robbins.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Ferlion Daniels officiating.  Entombment will immediately follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Middlesboro, Kentucky.

Pallbearers will be Joe Holder and Members of the Clear Fork Missionary Baptist Church, Middlesboro, KY.
