Lizzie Marie Hawk

Lizzie Marie Hawk, age 65, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, Lexington, KY, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on January 14, 1959, in Middlesboro, KY to the late Fred and Anna Mae Nash Turner.  Lizzie’s greatest joy in life was raising and spending time with her grandkids.  

In addition to her parents, Lizzie was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, David Hawk and her brother, Freddie Turner.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Donica Crockett; son, Michael (Rebecca) Hawk; grandchildren, Jeremiah Wilder, Gretchen Hawk, William Littrell, Elijah Crockett, Laken Hawk and Hudson Hawk; great-granddaughter, Saylor Wilder; brothers, Ronnie Turner, Ricky (Tona) Turner, and Mitchell Turner; and sister, Joyce (Harold) King, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

The family of Lizzie Hawk will receive friends on Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Padgett presiding. 

At the conclusion of the funeral service, family and friends will follow in procession to Mountain View Cemetery in Harrogate, TN, where graveside services will be held.  

Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Wilder, William Littrell, Brent Thompson and Joey Pace.  Honorary pallbearers will be Elijah Crockett and Hudson Hawk.
