Lea Smith Helton

Lea Nicole Smith Helton, age 40, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021.  She was born in Pineville, KY on January 17, 1981, the daughter of Tammy Smith Robbins and the late Damon Robbins.

Lea was a very loving, kind and generous person.  She had a special love for all animals.

Lea is preceded in death by her father, Damon Robbins; Grandfather, Willard Smith; and Uncle, David Smith.

She is survived by the following members of her family:

Mother, Tammy Smith Robbins

Daughter, Emma Nell Grace Helton

Son, Bailey Layne Helton

Grandmother, Betty “Boo” Nunn Smith

Uncle, Curtis Smith

Aunt, Cathy Smith Webb

Soulmate, Jason Southern

Special Friend, Terry Kyle

And a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Due to Covid-19, the family has requested a private graveside.

We all yearn for God’s Promise:  Revelation 21:4, And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore.  The former things have passed away.

All COVID-19 mandates will be observed including masks and social distancing.
