Larry Overton

Larry Earl Overton age 71 of Middlesboro, KY went to be with the Lord Friday, December 20, 2019. He was born May 21, 1948 and saved in 1956. Larry was a loving, caring, compassionate and hard-working man of God who never lost faith. He always put his family and others first. He was the son of the late Orville Overton and Virginia Overton who survives.
Survivors include: his loving wife “his brown eyed girl” of 50 years, Lillian Marie Partin Overton; one daughter, Lynn Overton Thomas and six sons, Claude Elvis Dixon, Lewis Dixon, George Dixon, Rockie Larry Overton, Dusty L Overton and Gary Wayne Overton; six brothers and two sisters, 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and special friends Roger Dale Thomas, Floyd Henry Partin and Jesse Hoover. In addition to a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 23, 2019 from 11:00am until 12 noon at the Creech Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon in the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Floyd Henry Partin and Teddy Overton officiating. Music will be provided by Dennis Overton and family. Graveside services will immediately follow at Larry’s homeplace.
Pallbearers will be his sons and grandsons.
