Kenneth Wayne McFarland

Kenneth Wayne McFarland, age 49, of Middlesboro, KY, entered his Heavenly home on Friday, November 22, 2024, after a long battle with dementia. He was born on August 22,1975, in Middlesboro, KY to George and Ruby Lake McFarland.

Kenneth was a man who served his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was an avid hunter most of his life until his love of animals took precedence over the excitement of the hunt. Kenneth was a devoted father and grandfather, whose daughter and grandchildren were his greatest joys in life. 

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, George Douglas McFarland.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Emily McFarland (Jacob) Cox; grandchildren, Aubree Madison Cox and Jenson Kenneth Cox; mother, Ruby Lake McFarland; sister, Tonya Renee (Chris) Collett; brother, Douglas Edward McFarland; nieces and nephews, Jade Guy, Charlie “Bubby” Jones, Salena McFarland, and Chase McFarland as well as a host of other family and friends.

The family of Kenneth McFarland will receive friends on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Woody Gilbert presiding. 

At the conclusion of the funeral service, family and friends will travel in procession to Green Hills Memorial Gardens where a graveside service will be held.

Pallbearers will be Charlie “Bubby” Jones, Grant Taylor, Jake Cox, Chris Collett, Tim Coots, and Eddie Guy.
