June Duncan

June Duncan, age 91, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the Middlesboro Nursing and Rehab Facility in Middlesboro, KY.  She was born February 16, 1928, the daughter of the late Richard Longworth and Ginnie Nix Longworth.  She was a member of the Trinity Full Gospel Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death her husband of 59 years, Mitchell Porter Duncan; children, Garrion Duncan and Delena Sparks, grandson, Gary Dewayne Duncan; four brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her son, Marion Mitchell Duncan and wife, Sue; grandchildren, Greg Sparks, Haley (Robert) Wilmoth, Stacey Sparks, and Michael (Denise) Duncan; great-grandchildren, Gary Matthew Duncan, Christopher Duncan, Jalyn Winterberger, Connor Winterberger, Eva Wilmoth, Kaedance Sparks and Robby Wilmoth; son-in-law, Roger Sparks; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel in Middlesboro, KY.  Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Kersey officiating. Music will be provided by Kay Carroll and Johnanna Baker.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro, KY.
