Jason Lankford

Jason Earl Lankford, age 41, of Pineville, KY passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at his home.  He was born April 2, 1979, the son of Iris Lynn Wallace Lankford and the late Earl Lankford.

Jason graduated from J. Frank White Academy and he earned a bachelor’s degree from American InterContinental University.  He served in the US Army Reserve from 2008 until 2012 and was a Veteran of the Iraq War.

Jason was baptized at a young age and was a member of the Bennett’s Fork Baptist Church.  He loved all animals and the beautiful outdoors.  He was also a former employee of MSHA and SEKRI.

He is preceded in death by Father, Earl Lankford.

He is survived by the following members of his family:

Mother, Iris Lynn Wallace Lankford

Sisters, Kim (Jeff) Helton and Krista Hamblin

Nephews, Matthew Colby Bennett, Dalton Clay Bennett, Hayden Gilbert, Jeffery Carter Helton and Boston Hamblin.

Nieces, Jenah Wade Helton and Jordan Caeley Helton

Great-nephew, Laylen Bennett

Great-Niece, Soarin Bennett

And a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Jason Earl Lankford will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ron Howard presiding.  Pallbearers will be Matthew Colby Bennett, Dalton Clay Bennett, Hayden Gilbert, Jacob Montgomery and Jeffery Carter Helton

Graveside Service will immediately follow the funeral service at Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro, KY.
