James Cranston Sharp, age 69, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at the Middlesboro ARH Hospital in Middlesboro, KY. He was born September 11, 1955, the son of the late Isaac and Betty Moyers Sharp.
James enjoyed hitting the road on the back of his favorite motorcycle. He was an avid gun enthusiast who enjoyed loading and shooting his own ammunition. Most of all, he cherished time spent with his family, especially being “Papaw” to his only granddaughter, Ella Blair.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his uncle, Luther Moyers.
James is survived by his loving wife, Debra Jean Sharp; his son, Steven (Emily) Sharp; granddaughter, Ella Blair Sharp; aunt, Ann Moyers; cousins, Lou Ann (Roger) Hembree, Lisa Moyers, and Leslie (James) Onkst; nephews, Martin Jones (Julie Bean), and John Jones; and special friend, Arnold Gibson.
