Irene Hubbard

Irene Hubbard, age 96, of Middlesboro, KY, went to her Heavenly home on Saturday, July 20, 2024. She was born on October 4, 1927, in Middlesboro, KY, to the late Frank and Mary Alice Partin Frazier. 

Miss Irene lived a life serving Jesus Christ. She was a mother to her nieces and nephews and even children who were not related to her. 

In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hubbard; her only child, who died at one year of age, Kenneth Hubbard; two brothers, Clayburne Partin and Virgil Frazier; five sisters, Diressa Money, Louise Seckman, Pauline Beeler, JoAnn Jones, and Grace Partin; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Henry and Mary Hubbard; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law from the Hubbard family. 

Left to cherish her memory are her niece, Judy (Bill) Duncan, of Tazewell, TN, Debra (Kim) Ferguson of Florida, Virgil Everett Goodin of Ohio, Virgil Lee Beeler of Indiana, and Chris Thompson of Indiana, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other family and friends. 

The family of Irene Hubbard will receive friends on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY. Funeral services will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Dale Jones presiding. 

Graveside services for Irene Hubbard will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Hurst Cemetery, Middlesboro, KY. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Red Oak Baptist Church, Middlesboro, KY.
