Helen Ruth Evans

Helen Ruth Evans, age 65, of Ewing, VA, went to her Heavenly home on Friday, December 22, 2023.  She was born on December 27, 1957, in Middlesboro, KY, to the late Lee and Nina Bruner Evans. 

Helen is remembered as being full of fun; someone who enjoyed life.  She was never fully dressed without beautiful necklaces and her fingers full of rings. 

In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Wayne Evans.

Left to cherish her memory are brothers, Benny Evans and Mike Evans; sister, and longtime caregiver, Brenda Clonce; special family members, Robert (Amy) Clonce, Gary (Amy) Clonce, Ashley (Dustin) Sandifur, Hayden, Kaylee and Noah as well as a host of other family members.

The family of Helen Ruth Evans will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY.  Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. with Dustin Sandifur presiding.

At the conclusion of the funeral service, family and friends will follow in procession to the Green Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum where gravesides services will be held. 

Pallbearers will be Robert Clonce, Gary Clonce, Hayden Clonce, and Dustin Sandifur.
