Hazel Humfleet

Hazel Roark Humfleet passed away on June 14, 2021.  She was born May 11, 1935, to Hiskel and Florence Roark.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend James Humfleet.  She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Herman, Lester, Noah, Homer and Manford Roark; Sisters, Mae Martin, Ollie Moore, Christine Hensley, Nancy Roark and Maudie Jane Roark.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Diana and Danny Daniels, and Kathy and Fred Hoskins; Grandchildren, Kevin and Veronica Daniels, Fred and Stephanie Hoskins, and Frank and Andrea Hoskins; Great-grandchildren, Jared, Cameron, Dylan, Devin, Leah, Wyatt James, Noah and Gracie; Sister-in-law, Niokie Roark, and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives.  All who knew her, loved Hazel for her loving, kind and gentle nature.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at the Black Star Pentecostal Church, Alva, KY with J.C Craig and Ronnie Oplinger officiating.  Music will be provided by Marjorietta Moore, Veronica Daniels and the Blackstar Pentecostal Church Choir.  Graveside service will immediately follow in the Saylor Cemetery at Pathfork, KY.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.
