Goldie Jean Givens Spencer, age 85, of Middlesboro, KY, entered her Heavenly home on Sunday, February 23, 2025. She was born on November 5, 1939, in Ferndale, KY, to the late Harvey and Julia Owens Givens.
Goldie was known for her warmth, generosity, and undeniable loving spirit that she brought to the world. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, Goldie was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Spencer; son, Milo Spencer; sisters, Maudie Hurst, Bertha Shelton, and Rose Nunn; brothers, Carl Givens, Roy Givens, Walter Givens, and Cecil Givens.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Pamela (Donald) Golden and grandsons, Christopher (Melinda) Golden and Spencer Golden as well as several nieces and nephews and other family members.
A graveside service for Goldie Spencer will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pineville Cemetery, Pineville, KY, with Reverend Mike Padgett presiding. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
