Geneva Godsey

Geneva Godsey, age 76, a resident of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the Hospice of Cincinnati Blue Ash Facility in Cincinnati, Ohio.

She was born in Saylor, Kentucky on October 6, 1944 to the late John Henry Belcher and Tishie Saylor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Jay Brock and her son, Bobby Ray Brock.

She is survived by the following members of her family:

Children: Connie Sander of London, Kentucky, Delia (Willie) Woodby of Middlesboro, Kentucky, Elmer Lynn Brock of Middlesboro, Kentucky, and Donnie Wayne (Sue) Brock of Middlesboro, Kentucky.

Grandchildren: Tasha Armstrong, John Pridemore, Jr., Zaden Woodby, Kevin Antrim, Chris Brock, Brandon Woodby and Heather Woodby

Many great-grandchildren

Sister: Gelena Funk of Middlesboro, Kentucky, and Helen Miracle of Tennessee

Brothers: Herstel Belcher of Middlesboro, Kentucky, Dearl Belcher of Harlan, Kentucky and Daniel Belcher of Harlan, Kentucky

And a host of many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family of Geneva Godsey will receive friends on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Middlesboro Church of God Mountain Assembly in Middlesboro, Kentucky.

A funeral service will follow the visitation at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the Middlesboro Church of God Mountain Assembly in Middlesboro, Kentucky with Rev. Rick Braden and Rev. Mike Padgett presiding. Music will be provided by The Singing Foundations.

Graveside services for Geneva Godsey will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Evans Cemetery in Speedwell, Tennessee. Pallbearers will be Willie Woodby, Donnie Wayne Brock, Matthew Vaughn, Tommy Belcher, Red Wilson and Randy Thomas.

All mandated Covid-19 regulations, including masks and social distancing, will be observed.
