Fred Peace

Fred Lee Peace, age 87, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, at the Tri-State Health and Rehab Facility in Harrogate, TN.  He was born March 4, 1934, the son of the late Westal and Samantha Lee Peace.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Middlesboro, and he was a Mason.   He enjoyed the outdoors and he loved to fish and hunt.  His most loved treasure was his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Clarence “Peanut” Peace.

He is survived by the following members of his family:

Wife, Margaret Peace of Middlesboro, KY

Children, Fred “Derf” (Candice) Peace of Clearwater, FL, Samantha Louise (Gary) Thompson of Harrogate, TN, Lesa Goyeau of Knoxville, TN, Bill (Stacey) Barton of Middlesboro, KY, and Melissa (Nick) Katsikas of Union, KY

Sister, Pat Larsen of Frankfort, KY, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Memorial service for Fred Lee Peace will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at First Baptist Church in Middlesboro, KY, with Rev. Zach Bay presiding.
