Frankie Lake

Frankie June Lake went to be with the Lord on March 14, 2020 surrounded by her family.

She was a faithful member of Dunlap Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for 30 years. She was a loving mother who dedicated her life to caring for her two children and her grandchildren. She spent her entire life caring for others.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years Omroe Lake. Her parents William “Foster” and Ordra Rose Duncan. Her sister Helen Moriah “Trixie”Duncan and her great grandson Easton Lake Montgomery.

She is survived by the following members of her family, her children, Billy Nickcole Lake and Judy Webb Lake of Middlesboro, KY and Ronald and Teresa Lynn Lake Carey of Middlesboro, KY. Grandchildren Jason Omroe and Keishia Carey of Middlesboro, KY, Savannah Nicole Lake of Middlesboro, KY and Andrea June and Justin Montgomery of Rose Hill, VA. Great-Grandchildren Jaiden Skylar Montgomery, Brayden Douglas Ronald Carey, Haylie Octavia Phipps, and Autumn Rayne Montgomery. Brothers, Albert Roscoe Duncan, William “Pete” Bruce Duncan, Doyle and Beverly Duncan. Sisters, Patricia Ann and James Gibson, Babby Lynn and Pete Capps, and Mary Nina Rosa Duncan.

Visitation will be Monday, March 16, 2020 from 6pm-8pm with funeral to follow at Dunlap Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Green Hills Memorial Gardens in the mausoleum. Family and friends will gather at the cemetery.
