Douglas Eldridge, Jr

Douglas White Eldridge, Jr., age 54, passed away January 16, 2019. He was born September 14, 1964 to Doug and Betty Eldridge of Ewing, VA . Douglas was a lifelong resident of Lee County, VA. He is preceded in death by his brothers Darrell Eldridge and Randy Eldridge.

In addition to his parents, Junior is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Karen Eldridge, sons: Douglas Eldridge, Nicholas Eldridge and Anthony Cheek of Ewing, VA; brothers: Ronnie (Linda) Eldridge, Jeff (Sandy) Eldridge, Craig (Shonda) Eldridge and Ronald (Jennifer) Eldridge all of Ewing, VA; sisters: Barb Baker, Betina (Greg) Ball, Shiela (Jamie) Twigg all of Ewing, VA; five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 18, 2019 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm in the Creech Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services for Mr. Eldridge will be held at 7:00pm Friday, January 18, 2019 at Creech Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Long and Frankie Dixon officiating. Music will be provided by Rev. Richard Long and Marcie Williams. Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, January 19, 2019 in the Susong Cemetery, Ewing, VA.
