Doris Wilder

Doris Lee Wilder, 81, of Middlesboro, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born November 13, 1939 in Pineville, KY, the daughter of the late Arlie and Myrtle Webb Howard.  She had been a member of the Middlesboro Church of God Mountain Assembly.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Don Wilder, 4 Brothers: Forester, Edward, J.S. and Glenn Howard.  She is survived by the following members of her family:

7 Children: Donna (Mike) Gambrel, Diana Smith, Donnie Wilder, Darryl (Vicki) Wilder, Darlene Wilder, Denise Rush and Dennis Wilder

Special Friend: Leon Miracle

16 Grandchildren, 35 Great-Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 25, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lonnie Lyke and Rev. Mike Padgett presiding.  Interment will follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens.  Family members will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 24, at the Cawood Funeral Home.
