Doris Hoskins

Doris J. Burchfield Hoskins, 68 of Middlesboro, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at the Middlesboro ARH.

She was born July 3, 1953 in Middlesboro, KY, the daughter of the late Bert and Cora Burchfield.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Charles Burchfield, Sr., James Burchfield, Hobert Burchfield, Howard Burchfield, Homer Burchfield, John. D. Burchfield, Hubert Burchfield, Mildred McDaniel and Betty Mason.

She is survived by the following members of her family:

Her long-time companion: Kenneth Davis

2 Brothers: Bert (Patricia) Burchfield, Jr. and Robert (Mary) Burchfield

1 Sister: Margie Ervin

And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Travis Thompson and Clyde Davis. Music will be provided by Joshua Collins and Sara Craig.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, September 5, 2021 at the Oakview Cemetery in Middlesboro with Clyde Davis presiding.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 4, at the Cawood Funeral Home.
