Donald Browning, age 76, of Chenoa, KY, formerly of Jackson, MI, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 14, 2019. He was born on July 29, 1942, the son of the late Reverend Charlie and Parasitia Browning.
Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing, ginsenging, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. He helped many people during his life, his generosity was never ending. Donald was a loving, caring husband, father and grandfather who had a wealth of family and friends who will miss him deeply.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Meredia (Webb) Browning; grandson, Paige Peeler; sisters, Trula Bray, Roxie Maiden and Hazel Beeler; brothers, Earl Browning, Clarence Browning, Homer Browning, Roy Browning and Charles Browning.
He is survived by his children, Annette (Louis) Mendez, Parasitia (Richard) Darnell, Vanessa (Clyde) Browning and Karley Sue Wilson; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; brother, John D. (Goldie) Browning; sisters, Hazel Evans, Opal (Jerry) Evans, Thelma Miracle and Patricia Browning; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m., at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel in Middlesboro, KY with Wayland Mason and Jerry Fuson presiding. Music will be provided by New Vine Baptist Church singers. Pallbearers will be Luke Davis, Eddie Joe Moore, Stephen Browning, Turk McGilvra, Michael Maiden and Johnny Newton.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the Webb Cemetery in Chenoa, KY.
