Della Lambdin

Della Lambdin, age 80, of Lower Laurel Fork in Frakes, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at the Middlesboro ARH Hospital in Middlesboro, Kentucky. She was born on May 23, 1938 in Chenoa, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Oscar Browning and Nannie Ellen Webb Browning. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was of the Baptist faith and loved her church very much.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arlie Lambdin; Sister, Mae Smith; Brothers, Luster Browning, Levi Browning, Arby Browning, Richard Browning and Alfred Browning.

She is survived by the following members of her family: Sons, Thomas M. (Susie) Lambdin, Daryl (Diane) Lambdin, Carl L. (Tina) Lambdin, Jerry (Mary) Lambdin and Arlie Lambdin, Jr.; Brother, Elmer Browning; Grandchildren: Thomas Wayne Lambdin, Brian Lambdin-Surratt, Della Denise Hurst, Jerry Lee Lambdin, Arlie William Lambdin, Christopher Paul Lambdin, Mark Aaron Lambdin, Karleigh Lambdin, Carla Ann Hurst, Daryl Wayne Lambdin, Jr., Ryan Chandler Lambdin in addition to Several step-grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and step Great-Grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 22, 2019. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Ken Kispaugh and Rev. Bernley Lambdin officiating.

Interment will be Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 12:00 noon, at the Old Lambdin Cemetery in Frakes, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Thomas Lambdin, Jerry Lambdin, Carl Lee Lambdin, Arlie Lambdin, Jr., Daryl Lambdin and Anthony Hurst.

The family would like to invite everyone to the Henderson Settlement Community Center immediately following the graveside service for a reception in Mrs. Lambdin’s honor.
