Debbie Lynn Medley, age 62, of Speedwell, TN, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at the Claiborne Medical Center in Tazewell, TN. She was born June 24, 1959, the daughter of the late Lawrence Myers and Madge Smith Myers.
She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Middlesboro, KY. Her most treasured gift was her family. She was always focusing on making sure they were all loved and well taken care of. She always encouraged her family to attend church with her and she always loved spending time with them especially her grandchildren.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Myers and Madge Smith Myers.
She is survived by her loving husband, Kevin Medley of Speedwell, TN; sons, Van (Heather) Medley and Michael (Valery) Medley, all of Speedwell, TN; grandchildren, Luke (Mahalah) Medley, Haley Medley, Savannah Medley, Madison Medley, Jase Medley, Meradith Rutherford, Kayla Satkowski, Gavin Satkowski, and Micah Moyers; great-grandchild, Gatlin Medley; brothers, Wayne Moyers, Benny Myers, Alan Myers and family; sister and best friend, Sherry Moyers; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A small private family service will be held for Debbie Lynn Medley at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at the Trinity Baptist Church in Middlesboro, KY with Pastor Keith Medley and Assistant Pastor Tracey Neeley presiding. Music will be provided by the Trinity Baptist Church singers.
Pallbearers will be Micah Medley, Luke Medley, Caleb Medley, Micah Moyers, Cody Mundy, Lawrence Moyers, Robert Nelson, Darin Robertson and Hunter Collett.
Graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon, on Monday, September 20, 2021, at the Wilson Cemetery in Speedwell, TN.
A celebration of life for Debbie Lynn Medley will be held at a safer time and will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Trinity Baptist Church of Middlesboro, Kentucky in honor and memory of Debbie.
