David Earl Daniels, age 48 of Cumberland Gap, TN, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, March 31, 2022. David was born on August 5,1973, to the late Wilburn “Earl” Daniels and Mary Sue Daniels.
He was a graduate of Bell County High School and played for the state winning team in 1993. He worked as a Concrete Driver for Tri-State Concrete alongside his father for many years. He also worked for Quality Care for Kids as a Vision & Hearing Technician.
He was a loving husband, amazing father, papaw, son and brother. He was known and loved for his huge heart, the kindness he showed to everyone as well as his larger-than-life personality and the outlook he had on life.
In addition to his father, David is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Welzie (Gladys) Daniels; maternal grandparents, Arthur (Betty) Wyatt; sister Melissa Sue Wyatt; and grandchild, Baby Honeycutt.
He is survived by his loving wife, Regina Mae Daniels; children, Shawn Honeycutt, Paige (Zach) Marsee and Breonna “Bree” Daniels; Sisters, Betty Jo (Jerry) Johnson and Vickie (Tommy) Elliott; Stepchildren, James Capps and Samantha (Shane) Hatfield; Grandchildren, Parker and Weston, Chandler, Haley, Jaylyn, Braxton, Kyler and Payton; and Special nephew, David Lee “Lil man” Brooks. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.”
A memorial service to Honor David will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., at the Shawanee Pentecostal Church in Harrogate, TN with Reverend Steve Temple presiding. Music will be provided by Mercy Line. The family is asking everyone who knew and loved David, to attend in remembering and showing an outpouring of love.
